Abstract:
The implementation of the competence approach in the system of training highly qualified specialists involves the formation of special competencies, in particular, it is the ability to develop a conception of scientific research based on the identification of topical problems of socioeconomic development at the global, regional and enterprise levels; ability to plan, organize, carry out scientific research, ability to achieve scientific results. This requires appropriate training of researchers to understand, assimilate and use in research activities methodological approaches to identify economic problems and their solution, systematize and form modern knowledge and ideas in the field of organization and methods of economic research, mastering the theories and methods of modern scientific research, the ability to apply methodology in economic research, to carry out approbation, to prepare scientific and methodological materials for implementation of the results in economic practice. The aim of the article is to substantiate and further develop the complex of scientific and methodological approaches to the implementation of economic research and obtaining scientific results that have theoretical and practical value. The following methodological approaches in the implementation of economic research are defined: 1) substantiation of methodological approaches to solving the problem through the development of an innovative methodology for analyzing and adapting established methodological approaches; 2) development of a structural and logical scheme of the author’s vision of solving problems on the substantiation and implementation of research tasks; 3) definition and substantiation of criteria and a set of integral indicators; 4) development of a set of organizational and economic procedures for identifying economic competitive advantages in solving problems at the national and international levels; 5) performance of tasks to assess opportunities and risks in the implementation of scientific and methodological developments of researchers; 6) substantiation, development and formalization of the «Algorithm of management actions» in the practical implementation of the research developments; 7) clearly structured author’s body of work comprised of scientific and applied results. Mastering the presented methodological approaches serves to form researchers’ skills to substantiate scientific and applied recommendations that have practical significance at the micro and macro levels in the current and future periods.
