Abstract:
The aim of the article is to study and clarify the theoretical basis of personnel security in a retail enterprise. Using a comparative analysis of the existing definitions, the essence of the concept “enterprise personnel security” is determined. The lack of a common understanding of the essence of enterprise personnel security among scientists, since it is considered as a multifaceted concept, is revealed. The definitions of the essence of personnel security are broken down into the following groups: understanding of enterprise personnel security as an increase in the efficiency of using personnel potential; as a component of economic resilience in terms of protection; in terms of personnel management. Given features of retail enterprises, the concept of enterprise personnel security is clarified and supplemented. It is considered as a degree of protection of an enterprise’s interests in enhancing operational efficiency, adapting to changes, and increasing stability of its functioning. From the position of a systems approach, the external and internal threats to personnel security in a retail enterprise are investigated. The tasks aimed at ensuring personnel security in an enterprise in the context of the overall economic resilience of the enterprise are determined. The functions of personnel management in the context of ensuring economic resilience of an enterprise are investigated. Furthermore, there identified the basic ones including determination of personnel requirements and provision of retail enterprises with personnel; personnel development and use; performance and behavior motivation; information and legal personnel management. The methods for ensuring personnel security in a retail enterprise are analyzed and classified. They are divided into financial, psychological, organizational, technological, administrative and disciplinary ones.
