Abstract:
The aim of the article is to develop and justify the S.C.O.R.E. model for assessing the problem space in development opportunities of an enterprise engaged in restaurant business under various conditions of its internal and external interactions. The advantages of applying neurolinguistic programming in forming and making managerial decisions as regards the pathway for further development of an enterprise engaged in restaurant business are considered. As a result of analyzing, synthesizing and summarizing the existing scientific works, there identified key aspects that must be taken into account by an enterprise engaged in restaurant business in determining the strategic vectors of its development (symptoms, causes, outcomes; resources and effects). The algorithm for a systematic solution of problems associated with making sound managerial decisions on development of an enterprise engaged in restaurant business is justified: comprehensive strategic diagnosis of an enterprise engaged in restaurant business and formation of the “as-is” model; determination of reserves and resources for closing the gap between the “as-is” and “to-be” models of development of an enterprise engaged in restaurant business; justification of the optimal development strategy of an enterprise engaged in restaurant business (formation of the “to-be” model). The prospect for further research in this direction is using the proposed S.C.O.R.E. model to justify the optimal strategy for development of enterprises engaged in restaurant business in the Kharkiv region.
